Biography

Kingsley (Arua) Kalu holds a BSc and an MPH in Human Nutrition, as well as a PhD. He is an associate lecturer in Food Science and Nutrition at the School of Science, Western Sydney University in Australia. Before joining Western Sydney University, Kingsley gained research and teaching experience in Food Science and Nutrition both overseas and at the University of New South Wales, Australia. With over 8 years of experience in teaching and research, he has a particular interest in exploring the role of diet in age-related diseases such as Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD) and Alzheimer's Disease. Kingsley has received numerous awards for his contributions to food science and human nutrition research. He is currently serving as the honorary secretary (Sydney Group) of the Nutrition Society of Australia, and he actively participates in many professional societies in his field. Kingsley is also involved in supervising and co-supervising PhD and master's students.
